Dr. Ellie Shadmehr is a highly skilled and experienced endodontist who has been practicing since 2011. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and a Master’s Degree in Endodontics, along with an Endodontic Certificate, from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2011. To further advance her expertise, she pursued an Advanced Endodontic Certificate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. After completing her training, she moved to California in 2018 and became a faculty member in the Division of Endodontics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Shadmehr is an accomplished researcher with a strong passion for advancing the field of endodontics. She has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences, demonstrating her commitment to innovation and excellence. Her contributions to the field are extensive, with over 35 peer-reviewed publications and two books to her name. In addition, she has secured patents for two groundbreaking designs aimed at improving the removal of separated instruments from root canal systems. Her dedication to research and education has earned her a role as an editor and reviewer for multiple prestigious International Endodontic Journals.

Dr. Shadmehr has also been recognized for her outstanding contributions to endodontic research. She has delivered lectures at various professional meetings and has received several prestigious awards, including the American Association of Endodontics (AAE) Research Award Competition in 2017.

Outside of her professional life as an endodontist, Dr. Shadmehr enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. She spends her free time running, hiking, and traveling, embracing new experiences and adventures whenever possible. Her dedication to both her profession and personal well-being makes her a well-rounded and respected leader in the field of endodontics.
