Founder of Embarcadero Dentistry
Dr. Olsen obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He began practicing dentistry in 1974 and founded Embarcadero Dentistry in 1975.
Dr. Facchino attended San Jose State University for his undergraduate degree. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific. He loves spending time with his family, running, and traveling.

“I came here on a referral from a colleague/friend. I moved to SF last year and had been putting off making an appt. as I’m generally not a fan of the dentist. The reception process was a little slow, and I had to specifically remind them that I had arrived. They were friendly and helpful though. I saw Dr. Harris for my cleaning and consultation. He was fantastic. The pre-cleaning was gentle, and the full cleaning was thorough but efficient. No complaints in the pain dept., and I would classify my gums as being sensitive. This was probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had.”
Dr. Hwang grew up in a quiet town called Almaden in south San Jose, CA. He studied at UC Berkeley for his undergraduate education and holds a BA in both Music and Psychology. He then attended the University of the Pacific for his dental training and obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Hwang believes in serving at the highest level of care for every patient and employs the latest research and technology to achieve the best outcomes in oral health.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Hwang is an accomplished violinist, composer, and music teacher, and enjoys playing board games and fishing.

Dr. Alisha Matreja is from South Brunswick, New Jersey, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She attended the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
During dental school, Dr. Matreja was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and received the New Jersey Dental Association award for her time on the NJDA Board of Trustees as the student representative. She then completed her postgraduate General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a level 1 trauma center, before working at a private practice in New Jersey.
When she is not reinforcing her dental skills, Dr. Matreja enjoys experimenting with new recipes, spending quality time with her family, and exploring all that San Francisco has to offer. Having recently relocated to California, she’s always eager to discover new spots and is open to any recommendations!

Dr. Prabhakar earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCSF, University of California San Francisco. She also has a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from Bangalore, India. Dr. Prabhakar is experienced in all aspects of general dentistry with emphasis on aesthetic, preventive dentistry and sleep apnea. She is passionate about dentistry and is committed to providing the best dental care to her patients.
Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Prabhakar enjoys yoga, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Delos Reyes’ journey into dentistry was shaped by his family’s strong emphasis on oral health. Growing up, he was inspired by the impact of great dental care and developed a fascination with the blend of science, artistry, and patient interaction that dentistry offers. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Jose State University before obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the UCLA School of Dentistry.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Delos Reyes enjoys staying active through basketball and exercise, exploring new destinations, and spending time with family and friends. A passionate traveler, he has visited countries across Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America, fueling his love for geography and urban architecture. Additionally, he has a background in music, having played the violin for seven years.
Dr. Delos Reyes’ journey to the U.S. began when his family immigrated from the Philippines to Concord, CA in 1998. Shortly after, they moved to Daly City, where he was raised. He is bilingual in English and Tagalog and maintains close ties with his family, including his parents, younger brother, and extended relatives in the Bay Area.
